The Samaritan Center is located on 123A East High Street in Glassboro. Our program helps Glassboro residents only with economic difficulties by providing free food once per month.
We receive food from the state; however, a large portion of our food and monetary donations come from the generous people of our community, local churches, and schools.
We are open every Monday from 12pm – 3pm
and every Wednesday from 12pm – 3pm
We distribute donated and government issued food to Glassboro residents who need our assistance. Individuals and families who meet federal guidelines for low income status, receive food once each month. Food is distributed on Mondays and Wednesdays from 12pm – 3pm.
We provide gently used clothing for children, women and men. Prices range from 25 cents to $3.00. Clothes may be purchased on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am – 11am.
Monthly giving is a simple way to have a positive impact on our community. Monthly giving allows individuals and organizations to greatly improve the lives of their neighbors with minimal administrative effort. The one-time set up is easy and straightforward, and it ensures that you are providing help where it’s needed. Plus, your donation to the Samaritan Center food bank is tax deductible. Don’t wait! It’s never a bad time to start making a difference for families in need.
